Revlon Matte Lipsticks: 001 Nude Attitude & 012 Sky Pink | Swatches

Hey there guys! Here's another swatch post of 2 of my Revlon Matte Lipsticks. I got Sky Pink at SM Megamall when it was on sale last Dec 2012. I can't remember how much is the exact price but I think its around Php300+. Then Nude Attitude was got by my sister in the US last year as well while she was having her internship, so I have no idea how much she got it there.

Just a quick insight about these lipsticks, I don't wear them a lot coz most of the time my lips are dry and these lipsticks are not a good partner for dry cracked lips. Well, they tend to emphasize my lips' cracks and dry skin. The lipstick doesn't glide well, its too dry to cover up my dry lips. So whenever I feel like putting them on, I always moisturize and scrub my lips before using them. The texture is a bit creamy, but not as creamy compared to my other moisturizing lipsticks. They are not so pigmented, I have to sweep several times to entirely cover my pigmented semi dark lips. It doesn't stay that long, I have to reapply it from time to time. It is not moisturizing, it tends to feel dry on my lips after few hours, so I always carry my lipbalm to rehydrate my lips every now and then.

The cover's top is transparent so you can easily see the lipstick inside, easier to which shade you're going to pick up.

Here are the swatches on my hand. I swiped it around 3-4 times to get that color.

Now let me show you how it looks on my lips along with my almost natural make up look. Before that, let me show you the natural color of my lips. My shade is between NC35 and NC40.

So, here's Nude Attitude on my lips,

It washes me out, I think. I look like I am sick or something like that. I swiped several times to cover my natural lip color. It looks like I'm wearing a lip concealer instead of a lipstick. I don't used this alone, I use this if I wanted to copy the korean ombre lips, I just add a red lip tint in the inner lip on top of Nude Attitude.

And here's Sky Pink on my lips. I think, this is just a right nude color for my lips. It gives a bit of a color that is not soooo nude. It's just the right pink color to give life on my face. Good color for everyday look. :)

That's basically it. I don't like them nor hate them, just a so-so lipstick for me. If you want to grab these ones, always remember to moisturize your lips beforehand so it will glide easily and will look great on tour lips. Hey guys! Sooooooo~ I had mini shoppings this week and got few stuff. XD Nothing special though. But! I must say! FINALLY! I got that one thing that I want to try really really bad coz I've hear a lot of good reviews about it. Let me start with the highlight for this week!

Liole's Triple the Solution BB Cream! wah~ LOL I tell you! I had a hard time to get my hands on that! Wala masyadong Lioele store here in Manila... Tsk! The one that's in St. Francis Square eh wala na. :( So, I got this at Market! Market! gah! Effort pa ang hanapan neto! letse... But after I surrender looking for it, it suddenly appeared right before my eyes! A PINK STORE! XD Hahaha. I literally shout at my bf "Ayun!!!" haha He thought I saw our friend that we were waiting for. hahaha.. Anyway~ I already used it a couple of times... I'll make a separate review on this.. Stay tuned!

The next one is...

Jack Daniel's shirt that we got from People are People in Market! Market! ahahaha! We both love JD that's why we... well, I insited buying it immediately! I dunno, I think those are the last pieces left. Just right for us! small and medium <3 LOL Yeah~ that's our couple shirt ^_^ LOL

I was actually looking for a Nature Republic store or even just a stall. And guess what, I found one in The Landmark. XD I want to try a lot of things from them but~ I think I should look first for the right item I should buy before actually buying it. But since I really want to get an item from them, I decided to pick this up. Haha! and yeah! I immediately tried it as soon as I reached home. XD Maybe I'll get 2-3 more of this to see the actual benefits of this mask. The lady recommended this to me since I said I have sensitive acne prone skin. So, let see XD

Haha! I forgot to remove the sticker prices XD well I'm just lazy I guess. XD I found this brushes affordable with verrrryyyy good quality bristles. :D for a 50-100Php each? They are so smooth and soffffft~ They also have a big fluffy brush and a crease blending brush which I didn't get coz I don't think I need it yet. The only bad thing is that they only have a small range of type of brushes. =/ 

These are my first pairs for false lashes XD natural and full xD LOL I just wanna try em~ LOL XD :)) and a Lash glue... Hope its a good one though XD 

Yay~! New lipstick :P LOL ahaha Revlon's on sale for this holiday~ XD This is from their matte collection. That's #12 Pink Sky.. Lipsticks on sale are their Matte, Color Burst Lip Butter, Color Burst Lipgloss, and Color Burst Lipstick... I dunno if I missed something. But yeah those are the collections I remembered XD LOL Go grab em now~! If I just have a budget at that moment, I might have bought one shade per collection :)) LOL well too bad~ I didn't bring much money T_T My mom got this one for me. HAHA! Thanks mom! :*

November 2012 Tony Moly Haul

Hi! It's been a while~ and I'm back! LOL

So, I and my sister went to SM Megamall to CHECK some products at Tony Moly. Take note, CHECK. Meaning, to just see what's new in TM but will not buy anything. But... I~ end up buying stuff ~_~ They're on SALE! Cmon~ everyone love sale. 

Here's what we/I got from Tony Moly last November 4...

Puretox Cleansing Tissue (Sale), Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream, Intense Care Snail Foam Cleanser (Free~! if you purchase at least 2000php), Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist, Luminous Sheer Base (Sale), Clear Water Lip & Eye Remover, and Party Lover Base Mascara

I forgot their original prices so I can't compare but! as far as I can remember, the prices are half of the original price. Yeah~ I spent 2k in one kaching! Well, I don't normally do that XD so it's a first for me. :P Well, it's still a good buy since I got something for free >:D haha!

The sales lady told me that the reason for putting certain products on sale is because TM is planning to change the packaging of the products. Ooooooh~ Let me repeat that again, change the PACKAGING~ but same content ;)

Okay~ Let me give you a preview for each products

Puretox Cleansing Tissue (My first ever!)

Puretox Cleansing Tissue removes make-up residues and impurities to provide refreshingly clean skin 

^ that's what't written on the cover of the tissue. Nothing much to say about this product since everything written at the back is in korean! Hope I can read 'em.

Next is the oh-so-famous

Appletox Smooth Massage Peeling Cream

Yeah, sooo... it's a peeling cream XD there's nothing written in english on the leaf so I can't give you any write ups and such. This is my 2nd "bottle". XD yeah I repurchased it! I'll make a review on this soon along with the Tomatox ;)

Pocket Bunny Sleek Mist (My first ever!)

Again, there's no english indications for this one. But, the sales rep of TM told me that it's meant to be used before or after make up... hmm..... they have 2 variants for this, this one is for moisturizing and the other is for anti shine which is in blue. Im not sure! I forgot ~_~ but the only thing i remember is that I got this one for its moisturizing thingy.

Clear Water Lip & Eye Remover (My first ever!)

it will remove your eyes and lips! beware! kidding XD LOL So yes, it's a make up remover. This is good for removing your eye make up such as shadows and eyeliners. Will make a separate review for this one.

Specialized lip & eye make-up remover which gives smooth and moist touch around the sensitive lip & eye area.

Gah! I wish all TM products have english indications with them... ~_~ LOL

Party Lover Luminous Sheer Base ((My first ever!)

This is a sheer moisture base which enhances continuity and adhesiveness of base makeup and pearl in color reproduces skin splendid and sheen (What?)

Anyway, this is my first ever make up base. I'm supposed to get the one that Majolica Majorca has since it's highly recommended by my BFF. LOL I will still purchase it though XD

Party Lover Base Mascara

I don't really use base for my mascara. The first base that I got... I think it's from Revlon. I really can't remember XD Yeah I just got this to complete 2000Php to avail their free product for that minimum purchase thingy.

That's everything that I purchased from TM last Nov. 4... And honestly, It's my first time to spend 2000Php in one kaching for korean products. I always limit myself from buying makeups that much in one go... Especially unnecessary ones. I am not rich yknow~ I'm still teaching myself to save! ;) plus, I don't really put make up every single day.

And yes! the reason why I got the mascara. dun dun dun~!

Intense Care Snail Foam Cleanser

Oh yeah~ I think this is a bit pricey (not sure coz I'm really not interested in buying foam cleansers). And yeah, it's one of TM's promo if you reach 2000Php worth of prods. The other one is the Floria Facial Wash I think which you'll get if you purchase around 1000Php. XD

So, that's it! My Tony Moly Haul for November. I'll be doing reviews for some of the products soon~ Maybe next month? LOL XD who know who knows.

Etude House Magic BB Cream (moisturizing) Review

hihi. i really wanted to make a review about this bb cream long time ago. XD between etude house bb cream and tony moly bb cream (with same price range), i prefer using etude house's.

pros:

• it smells good. but it doesn't have the perfumy scent

• its not sticky when applied it slides easily on your skin

• doesn't feel heavy its actually pretty light on the face,as if im not wearing any bb cream (for me)

• it will brighten up your skin it gives a natural and flawless finish

• it doesn't cause breakouts i have acne prone skin. i easily get pimples with make up. so this one hooked me up since my skin loves it.  it doesn't make my face itchy nor irritated

• it's cheap! affordable i must say. there's a lot of bb creams that are good but way expensive, and there are some that is cheap but it doesn't give you good quality. this one is perfect! its affordable, and good!

cons:

• it gives light-medium coverage well for me its fine since i don't need heavy coverage. yes yes i know my skin is not perfect. but using bb cream to make your skin super perfect? naaaah~ hehe

• messy pump haha it gets messy sometimes so i always have to clean it up

• one shade but i don't really mind since the shade that they have works pretty well on me. it blends with my skin tone the longer it stays.

now let me show you the coverage that this bb cream can do with this amount.

haha sorry! its pretty messy XD that goes all over my face, just enough to get the coverage i want.

can you see the difference? im pretty satisfied the results though even it didn't super cover my problematic skin XD this is under natural light, no flash.

YES. well i already did! i bought one for my sister deary :D hihi. but yeah, i will buy another one for me next time ^_^

NYX Round Lipsticks in Eros, Thalia, and Louisiana

I bought NYX Round Lipstick in 3 shades: Eros, Louisiana, and Thalia. here's a photo of the products.

Hehe. Honestly, it's my first time to purchase and use lipsticks since I don't really like wearing them. Why? I don't really like the feeling of something sticky on my lips.

What can I say about NYX Round Lipsticks...

• Color selection is wide

• Colors are very vibrant and cute

• Not that sticky on my lips

• Affordable

• Good quality

• Pigmented

• Smells good

And speaking of affordable, since ayaw ko gumastos ng sobra para lang magtry ng lipstick, i opted to NYX kesa Mac. Namamahalan ako sa Mac eh. Okay rin syempre ung shades, quality and what not sa Mac. Pero merong same shade sa NYX pero in a lower price. :D So, sa mga gusto ng cute vibrant colors, try NYX!

WHY DO YOU LIKE MAKE UP?

 Hm... I am just wondering, why do women like make up?  Most people say "Simplicity is beauty" or "Natural beauty is better", but ironically, only a few steps out everyday without wearing any make up at all.

Personally, I like make up because they contribute a lot to my confidence at times. Make up makes me feel beautiful, really. But hey! I don't do dramatic ones --- a touch of powder, mascara, and eyeliner will do for my daily life; I just do striking make up when I go to parties or events.
