Revlon Matte Lipsticks: 001 Nude Attitude & 012 Sky Pink | Swatches

Hey there guys! Here's another swatch post of 2 of my Revlon Matte Lipsticks. I got Sky Pink at SM Megamall when it was on sale last Dec 2012. I can't remember how much is the exact price but I think its around Php300+. Then Nude Attitude was got by my sister in the US last year as well while she was having her internship, so I have no idea how much she got it there.

Just a quick insight about these lipsticks, I don't wear them a lot coz most of the time my lips are dry and these lipsticks are not a good partner for dry cracked lips. Well, they tend to emphasize my lips' cracks and dry skin. The lipstick doesn't glide well, its too dry to cover up my dry lips. So whenever I feel like putting them on, I always moisturize and scrub my lips before using them. The texture is a bit creamy, but not as creamy compared to my other moisturizing lipsticks. They are not so pigmented, I have to sweep several times to entirely cover my pigmented semi dark lips. It doesn't stay that long, I have to reapply it from time to time. It is not moisturizing, it tends to feel dry on my lips after few hours, so I always carry my lipbalm to rehydrate my lips every now and then.

So here's a preview of the products,

The cover's top is transparent so you can easily see the lipstick inside, easier to which shade you're going to pick up.

Here are the swatches on my hand. I swiped it around 3-4 times to get that color.

Now let me show you how it looks on my lips along with my almost natural make up look. Before that, let me show you the natural color of my lips. My shade is between NC35 and NC40.

So, here's Nude Attitude on my lips,

It washes me out, I think. I look like I am sick or something like that. I swiped several times to cover my natural lip color. It looks like I'm wearing a lip concealer instead of a lipstick. I don't used this alone, I use this if I wanted to copy the korean ombre lips, I just add a red lip tint in the inner lip on top of Nude Attitude.

And here's Sky Pink on my lips. I think, this is just a right nude color for my lips. It gives a bit of a color that is not soooo nude. It's just the right pink color to give life on my face. Good color for everyday look. :)

That's basically it. I don't like them nor hate them, just a so-so lipstick for me. If you want to grab these ones, always remember to moisturize your lips beforehand so it will glide easily and will look great on tour lips. So yeah~ most of my Christmas savings is spent on EH Products~ ahahaha!

Missing U Hand Cream #4 Eastern Grass Owl Story

Hey there! Happy New Year everyone~ Hihi. Well, I guess this will be my 1st entry for 2013. Hope you'll enjoy reading this XD

I'm not a fan of hand creams and lotions. I barely use them coz I feel icky with the sticky oily feeling I get from lotions I've used in the past. 

This! This just grrr~ it's just so cuuuuute so I was like "Noooo~ I'm not gonna use it~ why buy~" then the next thing I knew is that I'm in the counter paying for this cute little thing XD Among the 4 variants, the smell of this is the most appealing. I can't really determine what it smells, but it's the sweetest, well for my nostrils, it is the sweetest among the rest~ I think it's supposed to be peach XD :)) 

Uhh yeah I forgot, this hand cream comes in 4 variants

Missing U Hand Cream #1 Eagle Owl Story

I believe this is a strawberry variant... wah sorry i wasn't able to remember all their variants/scents name. ~_~

Missing U Hand Cream #2 Kakapo Story

I got this one too! It's an apple scent if I remember it right. This is the 2nd scent that appeals to my nose. It's smells sweet as well. But #4 is still my fave XD

Missing U Hand Cream #3 Cerulean Warbler Story

The smell of this appealed to my sister. According to her the scent/variant name of this is cotton candy. XD I dunno, the scent reminds me baby powder. It is a subtle smell compare to #4. It's more of a baby smell XD

Missing U Hand Cream #4 Eastern Grass Owl Story (Yellow)

Weee~ the last but def not the least. My fave among them all. The box is cute as well, it's just a normal square box and such. This made the product more appealing and cute. And according to the box, it's peach! lol I didn't noticed that earlier XD My apologies.

So, let me show more photos I took.

The expression looks like it is angry or something. I dunnoooooo~ but it is still cute XD

This made me giggle a bit XD "Why is my head next to my body? errr..." XD the expression fits the photo well. XD

My review, yes after all those rambling..

Packaging/Container: 3/5

• Cute and colorful

• A bit bulky so I don't really carry this around since it will take much space in my bag

• It's a "dip-it" type of packaging which I don't really mind, but I still prefer a squeeze it or pump bottle with lotions and creams coz I find it more hygienic.

• The box of the main product is cute as well, as I have mentioned, it's not just an ordinary square box. There's a "window" where you can easily the product itself. It looks more like a bird house XD

Scent: 5/5

• Sweet but not stingy to the nose. It's subtle and just right

• The smell doesn't last long when applied, well I guess it's not created to last that long so it's fine

Consistency: 5/5

• It's not greasy, sticky nor oily when applied and when it dries

• It's creamy but not too creamy that will leave you a greasy feeling

• It feels "soft" and very refreshing in the hands

Product itself: 5/5

• It leaves my hands soft and smooth

• If you have hands that works roughly than normal, like me, using this every day and night, it will make your hands more moisturized leaving it soft and smooth which I have now after using it for about a week or two

Overall: 5/5!

The only thing is the container =/ I would love to have this on my bag or pocket but I don't normally bring big bags, sometimes I really don't bring a bag at all. That's just it. So I just rest it in my computer table to I can just dip and apply when I'm feeling roughy and shit. XD

Hey guys! So! As you can see in my title, I am soooo loving Etude House lately and yaah~ I bought a lot of stuff from October to December. Ugh~ I dunno! I just... erm love their products! :P Well except for one... I'll get into that in a little while...

Let me show you my "collection"... Among my makeup collection, I have more EH than TM (Tony Moly) and MM (MajolicaMajorca). To give you a quick knowledge, I tried TM products first before EH XD But! I love EH maaaaaaaaaaawrrrr~ LOL... So anyway, let's get it on.

                    

So yeah, that's my EH haul/collection for the month of October and November of 2012. XD

I soooooooo love this one! This was recommended to me by the sales lady at EH, Megamall. I really really want to make a review on this one. XD Coz it made wonders to my skin whenever I use it XD hihi... it comes with 3 "bottle" in one box. 1 bottle lasted for about a month or two on me.. coz i don't really regularly use it... XD heey~ it's just because I always forget... :P But if I wanted to redehydrate my skin for an upcoming event, this is a must! in my routine :P

naaaail poliesss~ i love the colors... the formulation is good. easy to apply. lasting power is uhm somewhat great. there are times that the product is easily peeled off on the tip part of my nails... but overall, they last long. :) cute colors too! <3

This powder is for my sister.. according to her, it's a good oil busting powder. ;) haven't tried it yet so i really can't say anything about it...

I use this for my inner tear ducts to have that cute eye look. ;) it works perfectly. But i don't use is as much. hehe~

This is a traveling kit that I got for freeeeeeee~! I love free items! XD well I purchased a total of 3,000Php for a single receipt that's why I got this box of goodies ^_^

This is perfect for a natural flush~ hihi it's the Lovely cookie blusher in #4 Carrot Cheesecake. I always use this! It's really cute and handy. Good for everyday look XD

My first eye primer ever~ it's a good primer.. well, it's the only one I have so I really can't compare. But it does its job pretty well :P

Silky Scarf Hair Treatment on the left, as we all know~ my hair is pretty... damaged coz of constant hair coloring, so to help my hair stay smooth and shiny, I apply this to my hair if I feel like my hair needs extra smoothness then wash it after a few minutes, and viola~ my hair is smooth and more manageable ^_^ and the Precious Mineral BB Cream Bright Fit, well, I still prefer my Magic BB Cream because! just because this one leaves a white cast on my face. But! I must say, I don't have to reapply powder over and over again whenever I use this. Maybe I'll make a comparison post for my BB creams :)

I suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper love this eyebrow pencil. It's in gray coz I the brown one is always out of stock whenever I go to EH to buy new stuff. But this is just right for my eyebrows :) The 2 way system is really a wise thing to do. 2-in-1 is always better and handy, in my case.

hihi~ I only use this whenever I like to have that extra glow. It is the Dear My Blooming Cheek in OR201, and I tell you, the name says it all, it will make you look blooming and glowy ^_^ It's a good tool if you want to have that korean dewey look.

This! is a must have on my bag. Its jelly texture, orangie smell and taste (yuhhh~ it has a taste!) is just so perfect if you just want to have that natural lip tint. I guess jelly lip products won't make your lips dry, so this is a go go for me ^_^ hihi.. And I really love the color!

I already used it twice, and yeah. It helps my skin rejuvinate. I use this whenever I feel like my skin is all stressed out. Hihi... This leaves my skin smooth and refreshed.

I love love love this cleansing tissue! I always use this to remove my make up just before washing my face. It really removes my make up! and it smells good. It doesn't irritate my skin, in fact, it leaves my face moisturized and clean!

This one smells and tastes like peach! I really love peachy smells too. It gives my lips a subtle gloss while moisturizing it. This is always on my pocket and I just put a small amount on my lips and pucker it up whenever I feel my lips are getting dry.

My first ever set from EH. I really had this battle within me if I should buy it or not XD LOL. But I guess I shouldn't have ~_~ this cost around 1998Pho? Not sure... around that amount. Why am I regretting on getting it? It's not because the products are bad, but my skin won't just accept it ~_~ too bad... I've used 1 of the eye patch and I used the other items about 5 times only with small amounts since I'm afraid to take a big risk on my face. Hay~ It broke me out and my skin so sticky. Hay~ But nonetheless, they smell good and might work for people who doesn't have same skin type as mine. I'm oily to combination skin, acne prone and sensitive as well. So, yeah. I am planning on selling it at around 1500Php (negotiable) whoever wants to have it, or! I can trade it with anything you want to offer that will fit my skin type. Feel free to comment of message me ^_^ I still have the box and the products except for 1 eye patch/pack. The bottles are heavy and they're really glass bottles. So just pm me away if you want to have this. ^_^

Hey guys! Sooooooo~ I had mini shoppings this week and got few stuff. XD Nothing special though. But! I must say! FINALLY! I got that one thing that I want to try really really bad coz I've hear a lot of good reviews about it. Let me start with the highlight for this week!

Liole's Triple the Solution BB Cream! wah~ LOL I tell you! I had a hard time to get my hands on that! Wala masyadong Lioele store here in Manila... Tsk! The one that's in St. Francis Square eh wala na. :( So, I got this at Market! Market! gah! Effort pa ang hanapan neto! letse... But after I surrender looking for it, it suddenly appeared right before my eyes! A PINK STORE! XD Hahaha. I literally shout at my bf "Ayun!!!" haha He thought I saw our friend that we were waiting for. hahaha.. Anyway~ I already used it a couple of times... I'll make a separate review on this.. Stay tuned!

I was actually looking for a Nature Republic store or even just a stall. And guess what, I found one in The Landmark. XD I want to try a lot of things from them but~ I think I should look first for the right item I should buy before actually buying it. But since I really want to get an item from them, I decided to pick this up. Haha! and yeah! I immediately tried it as soon as I reached home. XD Maybe I'll get 2-3 more of this to see the actual benefits of this mask. The lady recommended this to me since I said I have sensitive acne prone skin. So, let see XD

Haha! I forgot to remove the sticker prices XD well I'm just lazy I guess. XD I found this brushes affordable with verrrryyyy good quality bristles. :D for a 50-100Php each? They are so smooth and soffffft~ They also have a big fluffy brush and a crease blending brush which I didn't get coz I don't think I need it yet. The only bad thing is that they only have a small range of type of brushes. =/ 

These are my first pairs for false lashes XD natural and full xD LOL I just wanna try em~ LOL XD :)) and a Lash glue... Hope its a good one though XD 

Yay~! New lipstick :P LOL ahaha Revlon's on sale for this holiday~ XD This is from their matte collection. That's #12 Pink Sky.. Lipsticks on sale are their Matte, Color Burst Lip Butter, Color Burst Lipgloss, and Color Burst Lipstick... I dunno if I missed something. But yeah those are the collections I remembered XD LOL Go grab em now~! If I just have a budget at that moment, I might have bought one shade per collection :)) LOL well too bad~ I didn't bring much money T_T My mom got this one for me. HAHA! Thanks mom! :*
